Solution Architecture of Integration Services

A leading Danish energy provider required the development of integration services to connect four third-party technical systems with their existing infrastructure.

The project demanded a robust architecture based on message-driven microservices, capable of operating seamlessly across both cloud and on-premise environments.

The goal was to design a scalable, cloud-based platform supporting high security, efficient data flow, operational reliability, and alignment with business processes.

Darize delivered architectural leadership in the development of a comprehensive integration platform built on Azure:

Integration Architecture
Deployed services as Docker containers, established a Delta Lake data platform, and developed infrastructure capable of operating across cloud and on-premise environments – all within full DevOps setups

Testing Strategy
Implemented a robust testing strategy focused on API spec and contract testing to ensure reliability

Unified Infrastructure
Advised on infrastructure design to ensure consistency and scalability across business units

Security Measures
Applied security controls at multiple layers to safeguard integrations with critical infrastructure

The Azure-based integration platform became a core enabler of the client’s digital infrastructure:

• Delivered a secure and scalable integration solution aligning strategic objectives and technical requirements with minimal disruption
• Enhanced system reliability and transparency through monitoring and extensive logging
• Improved development team efficiency through a clear integration and testing strategy
